So in my Apache my avionics are all the left side which is fine, but there is only a very small amount of space.
Currently I have a King ky197 comm and a KNS 80 in the spot I would like to replace. The height available for room is about 4.2 inches.
Could I put a Garmin SL70 XPDR which I already bought, Garmin SL40 COMM, and Garmin SL30 NAV COM in 4.2 inches of height area? They are 1.3 inches each and I know that is less than the 4.2 I have, but how much spacing needs to be in between them for cooling? Would this work?
