I am looking at up grading my panel. With the introduction of the XI boxes I see GTN navigators pop up on the used market. Does anybody know what Garmin’s policy is on installing a used GTN 650 into a certified aircraft? Specifically getting permission to use the STC, getting a copy of the STC and the installation manual. If buying a used GTN from a Garmin dealer do they typically provide these? What about buying from somebody that is not a dealer?
