Took the iPad and the Appareo on it's 1st long trip. Flight time was about 5
hrs each way from the U.P. of Mi to Tenn and return. Some observations:

Foreflight is an easy to use flight tool.

ADS-B coverage was good the entire trip

The Appareo did get too warm when placed on the glareshield and the sun was out. However, it got good reception on the Arrow's backseat, and hanging from the coat hook in a light cloth bag my wife whipped up.

ADS-B weather was handy in getting around some nasty weather.

Appareo really needs to address the overheating issue. I know they have tried, but this is a new unit. Perhaps a ventilated case?
