As a new PA28-181 owner and new to this group, I was looking for some advice for my first long cross-country. I will be traveling from Dallas (KTKI) to Santa Barbara (KSBA), with a stop in New Mexico for a few days. I'm leaving plenty of time for weather delays as I'm only VFR rated. I've done numerous 2-4 hours trips from my hanger, but this will be my first "long" trip. Any advice, suggestions, or opinions welcomed -
