Vne is velocity to never exceed. Doing so may excite flutter. Never get close to Vne in anything other than smooth air. So heres the Question....how much of a difference if any would it make if Vne was approached in a side slip, or forward slip? Is Vne in a slip more or less stressful on the airframe?
Also, do full gap seals and upturned wingtips do anything to Vne speeds. Would they theoretically increase or decrease or stay the same.
Any test pilots out there?
