I’m having a problem with my nose strut going flat. The problem started when my bent nose fork was replaced with a straight one. The shop has rebuilt the strut 3 times and it always goes flat within a couple days. It’s not leaking oil, just pressure.

I was looking at the parts manual today and noticed a plug listed and an o-ring on the bottom of the strut. I’m wondering if this is the issue and if the nose fork needs to be removed to change the o-ring.

The airplane is a Cherokee 140 by the way. I’m at the end of my knowledge and I know the shop has seen enough of my strut too. Just looking for some different thinking than resealing the strut again.
