Noticed this wear on the outside of the alternator belt in my 6. Has definitely happened in the last 30 hours. Belt has a couple hundred hours on it. Was not like this 30 hours ago at last annual. I can’t see anywhere it would be rubbing on anything. Alternator seems rock solid and tight.
Any ideas?
