The New STEC 3100 Digital Autopilot is coming. An email went out to dealers today listing the schedule for approvals and shipping. Of course, the Cessna's were first, Beech's second and us Piper lowlifes last.
Here is the List and Schedule:
PA-32-260, PA-32-300, PA-32R-300, PA-32RT-300, PA-32RT-
300T, PA-32R-301, PA-32R-301T, PA-32-301, PA-32-301T,
PA-32-301FT, PA-32-301XTC
Ship date 2/22/2018
Unfortunately, the PA28 series is not on the list but STEC says sometime 2018.
Here is the brochure, looks alot like the Avidyne DFC90 and the new Garmin as far as capability goes (IAS, envelope protection, etc)

In my case. they are going to offer a 60-2 Autopilot trade in and will re-use my servos.
