Is anyone familiar with a strange looking Brown static wick with fiber hairs cut about 1/2" long that are installed on my Senneca II?

They are not like the Dayton Granger or other common wicks. I have researched a bit anf think they could be Model # 285 Gayston wicks. Calling Tex Air doesn't work with out a good part number, 285 doesn't work with them, and there is no logbook entry that every introduced them onto my aircraft. I would like to replace one that is damaged and keep the current set alive.

I hope to hear that you know something.
