I have a student that just put together a "Hangar Queen" Pacer. The tailwheel ( Scott 3200 ) will not release properly and will not release unless extreme pressure is placed on it.

Have been searching the net for a manual on the Scott, no luck so far. Also what is the proper spring set for the Pacer ( This is a Tri-Pacer converted back to Tail-Wheel ) It has a Compression spring set with dis-similar springs. All the Scott-3200's I remember seeing has the stretch springs installed.

The owner ( PPL ) has not flown since 1988 so he is flying with me in my 140 until he gets up to speed, then over to his Pacer.
