I have an AutoControl IIIB autopilot that works very well. I also have the S-TEC PSS60 for altitude hold.

For whatever reason - I cannot get ALT hold to come on. I have a three position toggle switch separate from the unit that will illuminate all lights on the S-Tec unit when placed in the third position. Apparently, this is a test position.

When I've attempted to engage altitude hold I've had the AutoControl IIIB in either heading hold or coupled to the GPS.

The unit was working fine until the airplane went into the shop for some magneto work. I'm thinking some setting or switch got bumped in the cockpit and my airplane (like many) is somewhat unique in how everything is setup.

Thanks!

JP
