Rudder Patch

I know someone with a Cherokee that has a patch on Rudder.

Piper says REPLACE for most Airframe items or refers to AC 43.13-1.

I have seen some nice repairs on many Wing Skins as well

as Flight Controls.

Some options are:

New/Used Rudder

Re-skin existing Rudder

Find justification for current patch
