I like to hang out at a maintenance operation called American Aero Services. They specialize in restoring and maintaining WW II aircraft and take care of most of The Collings Foundations WW II aircraft.

America Aero just finished restoring a P-40 for Collings, but this not a normal P-40. It is the last surviving aircraft that was at Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941. The link below will give you some additional information about this unique aircraft. The picture at the bottom was taken shortly after its first flight after restoration. It is truly a beautiful restoration and it looks like it just came out of the factory.
