As a part of my ongoing need to square away every little thing that could be better on my plane (and in tandem with an impending Aerocruze install that needs a AP disconnect switch on the yoke), I am looking for recommendations on good (I mean, -good-) momentary PTT-type switches.
Though I’m sure they’d work just fine, I’m hoping for something beyond the $3 bucket-o-switches variety. I’ve seen some nice PTT switches made by David Clark, but they were large and seemed like internals for one of their bigger units, rather than something intended to be a stand-alone switch on a yoke.
size, comfort, tactile feedback (not mushy), and durability are what I seek here. That, and at least one switch has to be available with a red cap (for the AP disconnect).
Thanks in advance!
