Good evening all! I looked over the PA28-161 POH tonight and while in cruise it prescribes best economy leaning procedures of full throttle then lean to the desired RPM. I can’t help but think this is pretty bad for the engine, but have no idea why this is the prescribed method. Mike Busch talks about the OBP (one big pull) method which I usually do, but the POH should rule right? How do y’all usually lean?
