My 66 140 has the original setup (non-standard 6 pack) and the transponder is currently mounted below the co-pilot side of the panel. There is space below the radio stack but the xpndr is too long to go there due to its length and would interfere with the yoke cross-bar.

Thinking of deleting the glove box or rearranging in somewhat that would allow me to keep the current panel until I can afford a new one. I also want to install a Hobbs meter and planning for a new vertical card compass on the windshield post so the old one will go away.

Sorry I don't have a better picture at this time. My hangar is about 50 miles away from me.
