RE: IPC Figure 45, Item 6) 67042-012 Fitting Assy - Aft Trunnion
Seneca II main landing gear aft trunnion plate cracked/broken at spherical bearing, found while airplane was being towed out of hangar though obviously it was cracked prior, most likely from a hard landing. The main gear had rested on the cap strip or angle at the bottom of the false spar in the wing also bending the cap strip and gear door support frame.
This was one landing away from a gear collapse on this side!!
