Hi All
Made a 25 hour trip in my 68 Cherokee 180 D from KOCF-KWDR-KHFY-KAQW-KSBY-KHYW-KOCF. My O360-A4A 180hp engine consumed 5 quarts of oil. Also every time I checked the oil it was black as night.
There are a few drops on the ground every time I park and a little bit on the underside, but not that much.
This amount of oil consumed seems excessive. Anyone else think so? Any ideas why?
