My Dad had a 61 Falcon and it was the worst car he owned. Always in the shop. Had a rattle from day 1 that they found when it corroded thru the outside or the drivers door...it was a flashlight left there in the factory. Finally died when an engine bearing burned out. Ford was having labor problems then so maybe that was part of it, but Dad didn't buy another Ford til 25 years later.
