Hi folks,

My PA28-180C is doing 128kts in summer, 130kts in winter around FL80 thanks to the knots2U wheel fairings (always at MTOW, flying with family)

Pb is that my main destination is 380NM away... so when facing 15kts headwind, that begins to be really toooooooooooooooooooooo slow.

So many questions are raised:

- What's the next couple of speed mods I could do that would bring me around 137kts, if any ? (front wheel fairing seems a good one... but didn't find EASA approval, plane is in Europe)

- What's the REAL cruise speed of a 60's Arrow I 180 and 200HP, Arrow II,III,IV and turbo ones when used between FL80 and FL100 ?

BTW: payload 980pounds required, like what I have now.

Thanks!

Francois
