I recently purchased a used Powertow EZ-40. It worked great except for a loose swing arm that was always popping off the tow bar link on the plane. I took the bolt off the Powertow arm and saw that the hole in the square tube holding the arm had significant wear and the bolt hole was actually oblong. I took it to a welding shop and asked them just to weld around the hole and redrill. Instead, they welded a solid bar inside the square tube and then drilled a new bolt hole through the solid bar. This is such an improvement that I would recommend that anyone with a Powertow make this modification.
