I have FS-210 connected to a GTN-650 and GTX-345 providing flight plans plus traffic/weather to my ipad mini4 using Foreflight. Sometimes when I turn on the avionics the Foreflight flight transfer icon does not appear yet when I look at the ipad Setting page for BT I can see the device is connected to FS-210 correctly. If I drop the BT connection and reconnect it will show the Foreflight flight transfer icon and work fine for that flight. Same lack of Foreflight flight transfer icon issue will also happen on the iPhone running Foreflight. Any ideas as to why it does not show the Foreflight flight transfer icon reliably?
When I first started using this set-up it worked 95% of the time with no BT re-initiation required. Now it seems like half the time there is no Foreflight flight transfer icon unless I drop the BT connection and reconnect.
Love the plan transfer capability, but I don't like the reconnect steps.
