Have IFR checkride scheduled for tomorrow. The last 2 were cancelled due to low ceiling.

Ceilings tomorrow are great, but TAFs in the area are forecasting winds of 19G32 and 24G34.

It's mostly a headwind (20 degree off the runway). I'm comfortable flying in these conditions VFR, but have never flow under the hood with winds like this before. I'm concerned about the hold.

Should I postpone? Or is the gust factor less of an issue at altitude?

The problem is that I'm leaving the country for a month in 3 days. If I start the checkride and discontinue, I'm not sure if it's 30 days or 60 days that I have to finish in.
