Starting my plane (Saratoga), especially hot starts, had been gradually becoming more and more challenging. Finally reached the point where hot starts all but impossible. Plugs, injectors and fuel system all checked. No help. Finally made the right decision to pull out and overhaul both magnetos. Problem solved. Never a problem with pre-flight mag check, but according to mechanic engine starts on one magneto only, and if there is any problem with that one magneto, result could be difficulty starting the engine.
