Hello, My name is Mike and I am a 48 yo student pilot. I just started on June 30 and have 5.7 hours so far. I am training in a PA 28-151. When my instructor and I were planning my training I had the option of the Warrior or a 172, I like the look of the low wing better, so I picked it and I am glad I did. Although it is very hot, humid and hazy in central Alabama right now, I am having a blast! I am averaging about 2 lessons per week with the hope of going to 3 per week weather and schedule permitting. My instructor says I have "great hands" and I do well with the maneuvers. However, landing........landing is a challenge. I am sure it will come, I hope it comes sooner rather than later. So, that's me, glad to meet you all.
