In an interesting turn of events, the airport has decided to remove all tiedowns that are currently unused, save a very few for transient use. And pave over, creating a huge ramp space for all the jet traffic. we see mabe one a month, and they don't park on the new "jet ramp" anyway. But take up two or three tiedown spots.
Then they are increasing the tiedown rent, and having the locals sign a lease agreement. I lucked out and am currently in a hangar, on private property. But only there until the owner finds an airplane to buy. Then I'll be back on the tiedown. Unless someone dies, and their hangar comes up empty.
