Does anyone here still use GLX 135A for navigation and if so, where do you get your updates? I have never even taken the time to figure out how to use mine for navigation, but I do like the quality of the comm and so not really looking to replace it as long as there are capable repair shops around but… I am currently having some intermittent issues with transmissions and so am planning a trip to the avionics shop on Thurs… got me to thinking maybe I should get the database updated and figure out how to use the darn thing, always nice to have a backup GPS even tho' I'm just VFR. Just wondering if these are still widely used/if it's worthwhile to update the database.
