The President joins in the demonization of "millionaires and billionaires" who buy those corporate jets. Of course accelerated depreciation was just great last October when it was praised as a method of creating jobs. But corporate jets are a good symbol to use when stirring up resentment and envy, and who's going to let a little principal get in the way of political gain?

But wait. Do you suppose higher taxes on jets will result in fewer jets being manufactured? And will manufacturers then need fewer workers? Hmmm.
