So I was reading my POH which I like to do every now and then and it describes cleaning the fuel screen in the strainer and cleaning the carb air filter every 50 hrs. From reading FAR Part 43 it sounds like I am allowed to do this myself. I have learned how to do an oil change and unfortunately yesterday how to change a flat tire and I'd like to add this to the list of things I know how to do properly. Anyone have any advice before I ask an A&P on my field for some guidance?
