Hello everyone.

I went today to pickup my plane from the annual inspection and during preflight I noticed that the fuel sample from the fuel strainer came out orange/brown. Fuel sample from the tanks were ok. Flexible fuel hoses were replaced due to time (not condition) with new Stratoflex hoses.

I found that Aeroquip claims that:

"The plasticizer used in all Eaton Aeroquip brand hoses has been tested to be completely safe for transporting fuel to provide optimum and reliable aircraft engine operation."

Is this something that anyone has seen before, thoughts!!!

Thanks
