I know I made the right choice removing my KN-64 when I upgraded to an IFR GPS, but I did love how simple the DME was to use, especially during an approach. It just keeps on showing you the one number you need. I hope whoever buys this one enjoys it.

I just picked one up and a VOR w/GS to install in a little 150 to get through instrument training. I'm excited to work with it!

Even with the GNS 430, I left mine in for just the reason you mentioned. Simple one number. When tower asks how far out am I, it is real nice to say 9.7 DME
