So my instructor and I did a mini-XC to the next airport for some fuel. My parents both work at the local state prison right next door to the airport. I took some pics at about 6 miles distance @ 2,500 feet and I shared it on the local area Facebook page so they and a bunch of local workers can enjoy to see where they work from above. About 50 people commented saying how cool it was, a lot of people asked some aviation questions, even one lady saying her son is interested in flying (got her info). So overall a good plug for aviation in the local community. These are the pics:

So apart from the fact she does not know what shes talking about, anyone else ever wonder about this? It's food for thought. Legally, I mean as long as we stay above 1000' AGL, you're covered, right?
