Looking to get some insight and help for setting up a personal flight sim at home. I have tried FSX in past and couldn't get it to work right and thought was too complicated to integrate a s/w GPS or radio and atc etc. so if someone has done so and would like to share some instructions and cost it would be helpful. I have googled and read through many sim forums but found it little high level for me to understand. Like some keyboard mods to convert a keyboard into regular switches etc. just need to keep it simple and setup a piper model and not a 747. So if you can share your experience with different software and hardware list to buy would be helpful.

I already have a yoke, rudders and throttle quadrant.
