As I look at my new (to me) Cherokee Six, my eyes are drawn to what I believe is the remnants of a long gone ADF antenna attachment bracket high up on the vertical stabilizer. This looks like a perfect place to mount a GoPro video camera. However, the prudent pilot in me wants to ask this more seasoned group of aviators:

1. What are the unintended consequences of this approach? Are there safety risks that aren't obvious?

2. Have you tried this?
