Just witnessed the aftermath of a 1 vehicle car accident in front of my house.

Car left the road and the front left quarter sheared off a utility pole.

Car landed upside down, on its roof.

The driver was life flighted out after rescue crews cut off the passenger side doors.

Car was relatively intact, despite being upside down.

Not sure whether driver was wearing a seat belt. But I'd venture to guess injuries would be minimized if she was belted.

Seeing the remains up close kind of shakes you, and does something to help put your priorities in order.

Be safe folks.
