Pa28-236 Dakota. My defroster heat is not working while cabin air works fine. It seems like the plastic tubes which connect to the defroster vents are broken and duct taped by previous owner and not doing there job. Spare tubes are hard to come by and buy new is like 1 AMU for that stupid plastic part.
Is there a way to just connect then with a flexible duct from firewall to the vent? I see some older 140 have that kind of setup.
