I would like to hear some opinions on running partial carb heat. I have a UBG engine analyzer installed and have noticed uneven EGT's. On my last flight I ran partial carb heat at 40F, then leaned 100 ROP and was amazed that the EGT differential was only 30F. It will usually run 125-150. So may question is, is there a carb temp that would be the best to use and is this a safe thing to do.
