I thought I had read a couple years ago that there were going to be a couple companies offering loans for avionics upgrades to facilitate the move over mandated by the FAA by 2020. Was there any development to this? Does anyone know if there is financing available for avionics. I have a cherokee 180 that is in need of an upgrade. Unfortunately 15 to 20K isn't pocket change for me :(.
