One of the props on my PA31 is suddenly feathering at shutdown. My understanding is that there are meant to be anti-feather pins that keep this from happening by keeping it from feathering below 1000 RPM. I have two questions.

1. What is involved in fixing this?
2. Is this the type of thing I have to fix right away or can it be deferred to annual (coming up soon)

Thanks,
Randy
