Hi guys.

I own a PA-28.

The claim the encoder is leaking and can not be resealed.

I have my plane in for the 24 month ifr inspection. The avionics shop tells me the cost of the altitude encoder is $350 and they tell me the total install is $875. Does this seem right? This is my first round with the 24 month cert.

The cost of the cert without the repair is $368.

The cost of the compass cert is $220.

Looking for advice. Thanks. Brafd
