Hello Friends, I am looking at swapping the old O360 for a factory overhaul or zero time from Lycoming. It all seems very straightforward and my engine, being an original Lycoming factory overhaul that still runs seems to fit their "No Surprise Pricing" policy which essentially says if your engine is original untouched lycoming and runs we don't care about the condition. The core is worth $16400 and of course I'm a little concerned they'll nitpick some bs and try to hit me up for an additional charge and this "No Surprise Pricing" policy is a bunch of garbage. Anybody have a bad experience lately with these core exchanges with Lycoming. When I did my first exchange back in 2002 there were horror stories about Lycoming wanting more money for crankshafts etc, but lately I hear it's a kinder, gentler Lycoming. Thoughts? Thanks! Tom
