A/P STEC-50 ALT Button Sticking Depressed

Hey everyone, my autopilot ALT hold button is sticking in.
Can pull it out, and after a few times it will activate ALT Hold, but it’s became tough.
Any suggestions?
Not sure if spraying corrosion X, or something similar, is smart to do on the device buttons..
