Both armrests in my 74 Warrior have large splits/voids in the vinyl. In the past I put some tape over the area, which is slipping away now. Instead of another tape job I was thinking of a more permanent fix.

I've heard talk about similarities with a 1960s Mustang. I see they sell replacement armrest pads for 1960'2 Mustangs on ebay, $12.50 or so. Does anyone know if they would fit right on? My other option was to take them to a local upholstery shop. The shops seem to come & go though.

I'm not worried about an exact color match, just an upgrade from red duct tape. Any other ideas?
