Trying to source the actuator arm that goes through the carb heat box that then attaches to the flapper (Piper Part #63601-200). It seems that none of my regular parts sources have this part. Texas Air Salvage only sells the carb heat box as a unit at $995.

I did find this repair kit: https://www.wagaero.com/carb-air-heat-box-repl-kit-1.html
But there is not a lot of information on the website, I figured at $14 I will get it and see what my A&P can do with it.

If anyone has a source for this part, please let me know. Even better if someone has a damaged carb heat box with a good actuator/shaft... let's talk.

Sometimes you are better off getting someone to fabricate an "owner-produced" part based on the damaged old one.

I think Piper had a kit for this, consisting of the arm & shaft, flapper plate & seal, and the two rubber bushings.
