I'm a fairly new owner of a 77 Cherokee Pathfinder and I am curious if I'm not worried about fuel consumption is it okay to just run everything balls to the wall? For example, I take a 44NM flight to get my instructor and spend a couple hours after that shooting approaches and then come back home. the engine has about 470 hours and don't want to hurt it. Lycoming O-540 235HP
