Various upgrades and part refurbs the first year
Added MicroAerodynamics vortex generators, Fall 2011
- Reduced stall speed by ~8mph estimated
- Increased cruise speed at same power
- Increased rate of climb +200 fpm
- Dramatically improved control surface effectiveness especially at landing speeds
Engine overhauled 2012, upgraded to 160HP (Ly-Con STC)
Avionics upgrade (IFR WAAS GPS/NAV/COM, indicator, GPS roll steering computer, MFD and audio panel) in 2012
