Replaced a bad RSM for the Aspen earlier this year. I had heard that there was a bad batch of them but my first one lasted almost five years. Couple of weeks ago started getting the "Red X" failure again and thought surely it couldn't be the RSM. Went out today with my avionics guy and put on a loaner and it worked like a champ. Anyone else have RSM issues like this? I really love the Aspen (Max) and also have a G5 as a backup AI, but if this keeps up I may end up getting a second G5 and dumping the Aspen.
