I have been experiencing a nose wheel vibration/noise on take off when I reach 60 knots and goes away a few seconds after take off.
5 years ago my mechanic refilled the Shimmy Dampener fluid and replaced the O rings fixing a shimming problem I had then.
It may be that the Shimmy Dampener needs fluid and new O rings again, however, the symptoms seem different from my recollection from 5 years ago.

Is there a rebuild kit recommended for the Dakota Shimmy Damper?

Has anybody installed the LORD Fluid Free Shimmy Damper on a Dakota? SE 1508-2 does not have PMA for Dakota, but it has it for several PA-28s and even PA-32s?

I read in the Cherokee Hints and Tips 2000 Book a couple posting:
One specific posting for Dakota indicates that Piper recommended replacing the spring-loaded "bungees" that connect the rudder pedals with the nose wheel with solid rods.
Another posting specific for Archer recommended Piper Kit #764 992V

Please provide recommendations to fix this vibration/noise.

Thank you.
