Good morning everyone– I am hoping from some input on the community regarding variable opex for a Archer II. Both my wife and I are student pilots, and are flight school does from time to time leaseback planes from owners.

Essentially, we are trying to run analysis to determine the risk/potential upside of such an arrangement. The biggest question is what we should budget over time for variable costs per hour (which then of course can compare to rental rate we receive). There are some other benefits of this I can think of as well such as training on a single plane (with no rental fee), and having it available once we get our PPLs, however first and foremost want to gut check the math. Thanks for any input!
