On Friday a Cessna 208B Caravan broke up in flight and crashed not far from my home. It was apparently being flown by Raisbeck Engineering test pilots on what has been described as a pre-modification test flight. Looking at the Flightaware recording of flight data it appears that the plane was put into a number of what had to be pretty high-G maneuvers and/or accelerated stalls and spin entries. Four fatalities.
